Privacy statement

Here you will find State of Fashion’s privacy statement which describes how your personal data collected by State of Fashion is handled. You will also find here all your rights regarding your data and how to exercise them. The privacy statement will sometimes be changed due to, for example, changes in legislation. It is therefore advisable to consult the statement periodically.

State of Fashion treats the personal data you share with us with care. All data you provide will remain in the possession of State of Fashion and cannot be viewed by others. We process personal data based on a legitimate interest. Your data will never be sold to third parties. The data required to be supplied are the minimum required data. Should it be necessary to share data that you have shared with State of Fashion with others (for example, to offer a service), your permission to do so will first be sought.

Your data will be retained by State of Fashion for a longer period of time, but never longer than necessary for carrying out activities, unless we have to keep your data for longer under a legal regulation.

You have the right to request your data recorded and stored at State of Fashion at any time. You can do this by sending an e-mail or contacting State of Fashion by phone. You will then get an overview of your data.

Is your data incorrect? Or has your data changed? You have the right to have this rectified by State of Fashion. You can change your details regarding the newsletter via the url provided at the bottom of each e-mail.

You have the right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Authority if you feel State of Fashion is not handling your data properly.

Do you not want State of Fashion to use your data? Then you have the right to stop the use of your personal data. Exercising these rights can be done via info@stateoffashion.org under sending a copy of id proof in which the passport photo, the numbers at the bottom of the passport, id proof number and BSN have been rendered illegible. The aim is to respond within a week.

State of Fashion reserves the right to disclose data when required to do so by law or when State of Fashion deems it justified to comply with a legal request/process or to protect State of Fashion’s rights, property or safety.
