Shanu Walpita

Shanu Walpita (she/her) is a London-based educator, curator and foresight director. She describes herself as a connector – proposing futures, near and far, that are aligned through value, purpose, innovation and community. Her practice explores themes of identity, technology, lore/hype and (new) protocols of fashion/culture.

She’s currently the Course Leader of BA (Hons) Creative Direction for Fashion at the London College of Fashion. She extends her expertise in speculation and cultural programming in concepting the curriculum, pedagogy and vision of the course. In addition, she curates/leads talks, events and educational interventions for all ages and neurodivergences. Shanu is also the co-founder of Emergence of Tomorrow – an online and in-person discussion space and community think-tank that positions itself at the intersection of fashion, culture, and technology.
