As queer individuals, we consciously choose to be visible or invisible through our often unique clothing styles. But what are the symbols with which we associate ourselves? Symbols that may be invisible but can reveal much about our identity.

For this workshop, everyone is invited to join in crafting a wearable quilt segment that can be attached together or worn on your own body. Bring your own fabrics, yarns, paints and stamps, textile markers, and other materials to decorate your piece. Use words, symbols, and images to design a segment that speaks to your individual and community values, your theories of change, and your alignment with activism(s).
