This afternoon, you’ll get hands-on with various fabrics, creating a small quilt. A quilt consists of layers of fabric with thicker material sewn in between, similar to your puffy winter jacket. The three layers are stacked and stitched together with small stitches. You’ll make a small practice quilt that you can transform into, for example, a phone case.
